SIMPSON JACOBY ARCHITECTURE D.P.C. is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio founded in New York City by Temple Simpson and Sarah Jacoby.
The strength of our practice stems from the diverse array of clients and collaborators with whom we work and from a unique set of design principals that evolve from each project we undertake.
Simpson was a recipient of the Moshe Safdie Research Fellowship, during which he worked in close collaboration with the Smart Cities group at the MIT Media Lab. His work has been published in the Boston Globe and Wallpaper Magazine. He previously worked for the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox, the Arquitectonica Think Tank, and with Architect Moshe Safdie.
Jacoby, AIA worked for several New York architecture firms including Adjaye Associates, SOM, and Rogers Marvel. She has worked on a variety of projects including private homes in Manhattan, Long Island, Los Angeles, and New Jersey, and the Dia Art Foundation. Jacoby is licensed in the state of New York, NCARB-certified for licensing in other states, and LEED certified.
Simpson and Jacoby received Masters in Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, and their A.B’s from Harvard College in Chemistry and History of Science, respectively.
